Employment Opportunities
SALARIED GP OPPORTUNITY
Are you a highly motivated GP with a strong work ethic, looking to join a dedicated, supportive, and high achieving Primary Care Team?
We are seeking to recruit a salaried GP, preferably at six sessions but negotiable for the right candidate.
We are a premises-owning, six-Partner, training practice with a growing list size, currently around 15,200. We have one Salaried GP, two Advanced Care Practitioners, two Nurse Practitioners, three Practice Nurses, one Nursing Associate and two Healthcare Assistants providing clinical support, and a strong close-knit administrative team providing clinical support.
As well as the Practice staff, patients can also access additional roles including Social Prescribers, Adult and Child Mental Health Workers, Physicians Associate and First Contact Practitioners through BYTES Primary Care Network.
We have a strong reputation as a teaching and training Practice. We share our passion for Primary Care through providing placements for sixth form students, teaching all years of medical/nursing students, allied health professionals and GP Registrars.
We are strongly embedded in our local community. Over the last few years, we have participated in Yarm Fun Run, organised and held community public health awareness days (for cancers and CPR training), and held Open Days for school students interested in a medical career.
We want to recruit a great team-player, who is keen to ‘get involved’ and is forward-thinking. We, as a Practice, pride ourselves in delivering high-standard clinical care, as recognised by our CQC ‘Outstanding’ rating and we would anticipate the same qualities in any new team members.
We aim to balance the quality of working life with the pressures of modern primary care. As we endeavor to meet upcoming challenges, we are open to discussing alternative approaches to the GP role and welcome suggestions of different ways of working.
